Ayurveda for Women's Health: Harmonising Hormones

For many women, hormonal imbalance has become such a constant companion that it no longer registers as something wrong. It has simply become the texture of daily life — the energy that dips unpredictably, the moods that arrive uninvited, the sleep that remains just out of reach, the body that feels somehow at odds with itself no matter what you try.

Ayurveda sees this differently. Not as a malfunction to be managed, but as a conversation the body is trying to have. One that, when you know how to listen, contains everything you need to restore genuine balance.

This workshop is where you learn to listen.

Hour One — The Teaching

Ayurveda has understood the relationship between the body's elemental forces and the hormonal system for thousands of years — long before the word hormone existed. Through the lens of the doshas and the body's natural cyclical intelligence, it offers a framework for understanding not just what is out of balance, but why, and what the body is actually asking for.

The first hour explores:

What hormonal imbalance looks like through an Ayurvedic lens
How the three doshas — Vata, Pitta, and Kapha — each express hormonal imbalance in distinct and recognisable ways. Understanding your dominant dosha gives you a map for understanding your own particular pattern of disruption — and your own particular path back to balance.

What disrupts hormonal harmony
The specific factors Ayurveda identifies as most disruptive to the female hormonal system — from dietary choices and sleep patterns to stress, seasonal change, and the particular demands of modern life. Many of these are things we do habitually, without knowing the cost.

What restores it
The Ayurvedic tools that make the most meaningful difference to hormonal health — dietary adjustments, daily rhythm practices, specific herbs and spices, and lifestyle shifts that work with the body's natural intelligence rather than overriding it. Practical, accessible, and designed to be woven into real life rather than added to an already overwhelming list.

The hormonal arc of a woman's life
How the doshas shift in dominance across the different phases of a woman's life — from the cycling years through perimenopause and beyond — and how understanding this arc changes the relationship with each transition from one of resistance to one of informed, empowered navigation.

Hour Two — The Practice

From teaching, we move into direct experience.

Drawing on the Ayurvedic principles explored in the first hour, Natalie guides you through a 60-minute practice of yoga, breathwork and meditation specifically designed to support the endocrine system and cultivate hormonal balance. Each element is chosen with intention — postures that stimulate and support the glands and organs most involved in hormonal regulation, breathwork practices that directly influence the nervous system's relationship with the stress hormones that so often drive imbalance, and meditation to cultivate the quality of inner calm that hormonal health genuinely depends on.

This is where the teaching becomes embodied — where understanding in the mind meets experience in the body, and where the shift from information to genuine transformation begins.

What you'll leave with:

  • A clear Ayurvedic framework for understanding your own hormonal patterns and what drives them

  • Practical dietary, lifestyle, and daily rhythm tools to begin supporting hormonal balance immediately

  • A yoga, breathwork and meditation practice to return to as a regular support for the endocrine system

  • A deeper understanding of how your dosha type shapes your hormonal experience — and your path to harmony

  • The particular reassurance of understanding your body's signals rather than simply enduring them

  • A community of women navigating the same questions, in a space where honest conversation is welcomed

This workshop is for you if:

  • You experience mood fluctuations, energy crashes, disrupted sleep, or other signs of hormonal imbalance and want to understand them through a different lens

  • You are in your cycling years and want to support your hormonal health naturally and intelligently

  • You are navigating the hormonal shifts of perimenopause and want practical tools beyond what conventional medicine has offered

  • You are curious about how your dosha type influences your hormonal experience

  • You want to move from managing symptoms to genuinely understanding and supporting the underlying balance
