NURTURING YOGA FOR MUM AND BABY

Postnatal Yoga

The early months of motherhood can feel overwhelming, and it’s easy for your own recovery to take a back seat.

This postnatal yoga course is here to give you that time back- a space to slow down, breathe and feel held. Classes are relaxed, welcoming, and baby-friendly, with space to connect with other mothers and enjoy meaningful time with your little one.

Each week we’ll gently build on the last - starting with rest, reconnection and breath, then gradually introducing mindful movement to support healing, strength and stability in your postnatal body. Along the way you’ll learn about the changes your body has been through, the importance of breath and nervous system support, and how to move in a way that truly nurtures your recovery.

Over the course we will explore

  • Postnatal recovery and the changes in your body after birth

  • Breathwork as the foundation for healing and core connection

  • Gentle strength-building for the core and pelvic floor

  • Nervous system support and the role of rest in recovery

  • Somatic movement to release tension and improve body awareness

  • Safe, functional movement patterns for everyday motherhood

  • Time to connect with yourself, your baby and other mums

We can’t wait to welcome you both.

(Open to all from 6 weeks post-birth and until baby is crawling!)

About Amy

Amy has been practising yoga since the age of 19 and completed teacher training at the Himalaya Yoga Valley, India in 2017. After becoming a mum in 2020, she experienced first-hand just how powerful yoga can be during pregnancy and postnatal recovery, inspiring her to take her training further with prenatal and postnatal yoga specialist, Sally Parkes.

Now a mother of two, Amy brings both professional knowledge and lived experience to her teaching. She offers a calm, nurturing space where women can reconnect with their bodies through a gentle and intelligent approach. Her work weaves together somatic movement, breathwork, and nervous system awareness to support recovery, build strength and restore balance from within.

Amy is passionate about helping women feel more at home in their bodies during this transformative chapter, meeting each person exactly where they are with compassion and care.
