SOMATIC BREATH: The Body Remembers

Somatic Breathwork for Trauma Release & Deep Healing

There are things that happened that you've told yourself you're over.

And in many ways, you are. You've processed them, talked about them, understood them intellectually, and kept moving. But somewhere beneath that understanding — in the chest, in the belly, in the place where the breath gets shallow when certain things are mentioned — the body is still there. Still holding. Still waiting for the moment it's finally safe to let go.

This session was created for that moment.

The Body Remembers is a somatic breathwork experience designed to access what the thinking mind genuinely cannot reach. Because trauma — in all its forms, large and small — is not stored as narrative. It is stored as sensation. As tension. As the body's faithful, loyal attempt to protect you from something it was never told had passed.

Breathwork reaches that layer directly. Where talk therapy works with the story, somatic breathwork works with the body that lived it — using conscious, connected breathing to bypass the analytical mind, access the subconscious, and create the conditions for stored emotion and unresolved experience to surface, move through, and release.

What happens in the session

You'll be held in a carefully curated, trauma-informed space — soft, warm, and intentionally safe. The session is paced with full sensitivity, and you remain in complete choice and control throughout. Nothing is forced. Nothing is rushed. The breath leads, and the body follows at its own pace.

As the breathwork deepens, the nervous system begins to release its habitual patterns of bracing and protecting. Emotions that have been stored rather than felt begin to move — not because they are pushed, but because the body finally feels safe enough to let them. Some people experience physical sensation — tingling, trembling, waves of heat or release. Some experience emotion — tears, laughter, anger, grief. Some experience a profound and unexpected stillness.

All of it is welcome. All of it is held.

The session closes with a guided integration — time to absorb, to anchor, and to return to yourself feeling genuinely lighter than when you arrived.

What you'll leave with:

  • A body that has been listened to — perhaps for the first time in a long time

  • Emotional and physical tension released from places that thinking and talking don't reach

  • A nervous system that has completed something it has been holding open

  • A sense of lightness, spaciousness, and relief that is felt rather than understood

  • The particular aliveness that arrives when something long-carried is finally put down

This session is for you if:

  • You carry the sense that something is still held in your body despite the inner work you've done

  • You experience anxiety, tension, or emotional reactivity that feels older than the present

  • You've tried talk-based approaches and feel there's a layer beneath them still to be reached

  • You are ready to let the body complete what the mind has already processed

  • You want a safe, trauma-informed container to do the deepest work — without doing it alone

Suitable for all levels. No prior breathwork or somatic experience required. Trauma-informed facilitation throughout. Please review contraindications on the booking page before reserving your place.
