Aerial Yoga: Flow & Restore is a 90-minute workshop unlike anything that happens on a mat. From the moment you step into the hammock, the rules of ordinary movement change — and what becomes possible for your body, your breath, and your nervous system changes with them.
This workshop moves through two carefully designed phases, each one building on what came before.
Phase One — Flow (60 minutes)
The first hour is movement — creative, expansive, and joyfully freeing. Guided through an aerial flow sequence, you'll discover new ranges of motion, explore forms of movement your body may never have experienced, and feel the hammock become an extension of your practice rather than something to navigate around.
The highlight for many is the aerial inversions — moments where the body is gently suspended upside down, allowing the vertebrae to decompress and the spine to lengthen with the assistance of gravity rather than against it. For anyone who carries tension in their back, neck, or shoulders, this alone is worth the session.
Throughout, the hammock supports and holds you — building confidence, encouraging play, and removing the fear that so often limits what we allow ourselves to try.
Phase Two — Restore (30 minutes)
The second chapter belongs entirely to stillness.
You'll settle into an extended floating Savasana — body cradled and suspended in the silk hammock — as a live sound healing experience fills the room. The frequencies move through the space and through you, meeting the body in its post-movement openness and carrying it into a depth of rest that feels almost otherworldly.
This is integration at its finest — the body processing, absorbing, and anchoring everything the movement unlocked, while the sound does the final work of bringing the nervous system fully home.
